Aerobic fitness
Aerobic fitness refers to endurance or ability to sustain work for prolonged periods, and is assessed by measuring the amount of oxygen utilized during exercise. The V02 max test measures aerobic power and is usually done on an ergometer such as bike or treadmill.

Anaerobic fitness
The Wingate test is a 30-second test for anaerobic power.

Lactate threshold
This test measures the point at which lactic acid builds up in your muscles, and also identifies recovery time.

Biomechanical assessment
Depending on the sport, we use a variety of technologies and software to analyze biomechanical
problems and functioning of joints and muscles that affect your gait,
shot or swing.

Body composition
There are a number of methods for measuring body composition. Our standard approach
is to measure skinfold body fat and lean muscle with a Harpenden caliper.

Strength, power and muscular endurance
The requirements for strength, power, endurance, speed and agility are all sport specific. Depending on the  sport, we use different tests to measure full upper- and lower-body muscle strength, power and endurance.

The amount of flexibility required for best performance is often overlooked or misunderstood. Structure, muscle weakness or previous injury can limit range of motion. With sport-specific testing, we can measure flexibility and help you regain or improve movement.
